Eckhard Neumann

Mr. Neumann is a leading authority on European security and risk consultancy, with over 25 years of experience. He began his career with the Berlin Police Department in Germany obtaining the rank of Captain. During his ten year tenure with the Berlin Police, Mr. Neumann served in various police management roles. Mr. Neumann has held the position of Director, Investigations Central Europe with one of the top five international risk consultancy firms. In this position he directed due diligence, intellectual property, anti-counterfeiting, fraud, FCPA and financial investigations throughout Europe for Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Neumann was a founder of and helped to develop the “Institute for Security Services (Institut für Sicherheitsdienste “IfS”).” His responsibilities included the development of security programs and analysis for the hospitality industry and the security training of IFS personnel for all U.S. Embassy facilities in Berlin. Mr. Neumann was responsible for the training of IFS security personnel in the areas of operations, conflict management, weapons and communications. He was recognized by the U.S. Embassy in Germany for directing security operations at Tegel Airport during President Clinton’s visit to Berlin in 1994.

Mr. Neumann has extensive experience and has managed security and protective services, risk assessment assignments and investigations throughout central Europe and the former Eastern Bloc countries.

Mr. Neumann has managed numerous multi-jurisdictional, cross-border investigations in Europe involving, fraud, bribery, intellectual property theft and copyright infringement, anti-counterfeiting and complex due diligence assignments.

Mr. Neumann graduated from the German Police Academy and is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security.
